Mila Mayer was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1966, she is a contemporary photographer. Mayer began her professional career as an economist before devoting herself to her passion. Her father is German, she grew up between Brazil and Europe. Right since her childhood, she began capturing moments of her life through photography. She lives and works in Switzerland. The artist graduated from Escola de Artes Panamericana in São Paulo, her thirst for knowledge keeps enriching. Superimposed photos create blurry images which conceal aspects which leads to aesthetically pleasing work, giving them a surrealistic and poetic look. 2011 onward, she earned fame and took part in SP-Arte in 2013 and Art Rio in 2016.
