Dan Carabas
Germany Born in: 1984
Born in Romania in the city of Arad in 1984, Dan CARABAS grew up in Freiburg, Germany. At the age of 14 he discovered an old camera that his father used when he was a photographer. At the age of 16, he got his first NIKON, a more advanced one, the FM2, and he took a series of portraits of girls from his highschool.

After his Bac he works for six months as an assistant in a photo studio specialized in advertising. He discovers his vocation to work with people and not with objects.

He travels a lot: Berlin, Munich, Hamburg to stays in Vienna where he meets Italian fashion photographer Claudia Cassentini.

Claudia is impressed by Dan's motivation and and takes him under her wing. Dan assists her in the production of fashion advertising campaigns and they travel to Italy, Germany, Egypt, Tunisia and Austria. For two years, Dan has been met interesting people and his dream of working with models and bringing a kind of special energy and emotion to live started to come true.

He decides to developed his own style as a fashion photographer. Ambitious and passionate, he published his first book in 2010.
