    This work by the street artist In the Woup comes from his project Mario Worldz. The mosaic tiles are glued on a shiny black Plexiglas plate cut by laser to perfectly fit the design of the character.

    Two "panty button" hangers on the back allow it to be hung without difficulty. The materials, as well as the technique, are the result of many years of research and improvements by the artist. In the Woup is a French street artist based in Lyon. He has been using mosaic for his creations for more than 15 years. The concept of his Mario Worldz project is to answer this question: "What if Mario Bros. had more costumes? Like much more...". He creates crossovers with the worlds he loves. Each work is unique and pays homage to characters from literature, manga, video games, comics, TV series and cinema.
