Jules Dedet, alias L'Atlas, is a French street artist born in 1978.

L'Atlas is a meticulous artist, in search of a certain purity both in form and in the choice of colors, and he expresses through his life and his art the Asian philosophy of duality as a source of complementarity. In his hypnotic works, there is always the dichotomy between black and white.

Refusing academic studies and a conformist life, he abandoned his art history studies to devote himself entirely to his writing. He travelled to Morocco and then to Egypt to study Arabic calligraphy from the greatest masters and teachers.
