Presentation
Born from the desire to celebrate the broadcast of the 5th season of the Bureau of legends, TOE - The Oligarchs Editions, a subsidiary of the production house of the cult series, has teamed up with PLAKAT, publisher of exclusive posters, in order to manufacture from scratch a series of unique works of art and pay tribute to the great French spy series. Code name of the operation: LA FABRIQUE DES LÉGENDE A new project in France, these original creations are inspired by the universes and intrigues of the 5 seasons and imagined by 5 internationally renowned artists. From the first sketches to their artisanal screen printing in an ambitious American format, it took more than a year of work for this project to materialize around a high-end product, entirely handcrafted and available in very limited. Welcome to La Fabrique des Légendes ...

SEASON 1 THE WORK Inspired by the mythical scene of the interrogation in this breathless end of Season 1, the poster re-transcribes the tension that reigns in the tent. Uncompromising, the charismatic director of the FBI manages to overthrow the best French agent thanks to a key object of information: the lie detector. What drives Malotru now is Nadia El Mansour, whatever the rest.

THE ARTIST: TOMER HANUKA Israeli-American artist, Tomer Hanuka is a multi-award-winning illustrator. He works for various magazines such as The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, MTV, and The New York Times. His work is inspired by the 7th, he has notably produced boards for Valse avec Bachir, and uses a palette of unique colors which perfectly illustrate the psychological aspect of season 1.

SEASON 2 THE WORK Far from the outdoor action fields on which acts the DGSE, the offices of the boulevard Mortier are also the ground of a merciless war. The world of espionage is the world of lies. Like a game of chess, a merciless battle is being played out: tension, power games, betrayal, how now to distinguish the true from the false? The visual is treated in black and white to echo the duality of the character of Malotru as well as the dark side in each of the agents. It is also a reference to the mythical cliffhanger of the end of the season which opens with a masterful season 3. THE ARTIST: KEVIN MANACH Artist graduated from the Gobelins school, Kevin Manach is a designer, and director of short films from animation. He works for clients such as Marvel, Amnesty International, or even Ubisoft where he participates in the illustration of the iconic game FarCry. With his precise line and his style inspired by the 50s comics, this young and talented artist reveals the smallest details of the thoughtful and efficient handling of Malotru in season 2.

SEASON 3 THE WORK A season 3 during which anything is possible. Captured and tortured by DAESH, Malotru manages to escape thanks to the complicity of a KGB agent. A cult escapade, high in intensity, which makes Malotru not only a man of spirit but also a man of the field. The sun is beating down in an arid desert, they are stopped at a decisive checkpoint, the shadows of the armed soldiers are aimed at Malotru: hanging on belts he plays his life. At the end of his rope, sweating, he must cling to his life. If he lets go, it's the void, the ravine, the end.

THE ARTIST: MARC ASPINALL Illustrator of British origin, it is thanks to his singular style that he represents the impressive desert escapade of this third season. Creating illustrations with various themes, but often linked to the seventh art, his pictorial aesthetic universe plunges us into powerful images.

SEASON 4 THE WORK Always with the aim of presenting the truth of the world and telling the story of this new world, this poster manages to combine the two major themes of the fourth season: cyber warfare, which has become the new issue for intelligence agencies and a Malotru who emigrated to Russia soon joined by a young legend who returned to service, Marina Loiseau. All in architectural power, the poster pays homage to the art-deco movement of the beginning of the 20th century by subtly mixing a massive block representing the information flows of the 21 center which will become the playground for the new operations of the DGSE. What is the new place of man in this modern world?

THE ARTIST: THÉO GUIGNARD Originally from Saint-Tropez, Théo comes from the Gobelins school and works mainly in the world of animation. He directed several films of this kind and also illustrated his talent by publishing his first book in 2015. Passionate about science fiction, he highlights the influence of the cyberwarfare waged during this season 4.

SEASON 5 THE WORK A poster designed like a cinema shot masterfully opening onto the sublime red dunes of a Sinai of all dangers. These matrioshkas, which had been used for a time Karlov alias Kennedy to detect traitors, will now close in on him. Allusion to a grandiose final orchestrated by the DGSE whose intrigues fit together perfectly. Only a doll is no longer in balance ...

THE ARTIST: LAURENT DURIEUX Laurent Durieux is a Belgian artist who has reworked the posters of the greatest classics of cinema. He has captured the eye of the greatest directors like Steven Spielberg, Paul Thomas Anderson, or Francis Ford Coppola. He is one of the most talented illustrators of recent years. His experience and creativity match perfectly with the complexity of the challenges of this fifth season.
