It did not take many years for Nicolas Claris to become one of the greatest photographers, but since the year 2000, it is with all these "many" that he has traced his path and surprises us every year by his singular look at these parts of the world that surround us and that he frames for us, impeccably disruptive, sometimes, joyfully classic, from time to time, tenderly devoted, always.

In 2008, Sinar entrusted him with an HY6 for a year of intensive testing in conditions that were out of the ordinary for such equipment. Become addicted to medium format (large sensors), Nicolas Claris becomes one of the very few Pentax Ambassadors from 2012 to 2021. In 2021 he acquires new equipment which gives him access to the latest technological advances (still in medium format but with a 102 million pixel sensor, stunning colors and image quality.).
