Chris Krainik is an atypical French artist. She embarked at first in a career as an artistic director, and it was only after many years spent at La Défense, that she decided to leave everything to move to Vallauris, in the Alpes-Maritimes. There, She took classes at the School of Fine Arts and obtained a degree in fire art in 2011.
Chris Krainik is a versatile artist. Illustrator, she also creates unique pieces, where she combines ceramics and contemporary graphics. She created "Ruperd" to give an identity to her artistic work. This character has the form of an animal with long ears, which is the trademark of her art. Between tradition and eccentricity, technique and naivety, Chris Krainik's creations are impregnated with joy and poetry.
