Presentation

N.A.S.T.Y. is a famous graffiti artist of the Parisian scene. He started working in 1988 and made a name for himself quite rapidly by painting on metros. After joining the AEC (Artiste en Cavale) collective in 1990, it was in 1992 that he exhibited in Paris for the first time, thus beginning the real development of his art.

In his exhibitions, N.A.S.T.Y. shows the famous enamel signs of the RATP that he has been using for more than 10 years. He also uses Metro plans as supports, keeping the spirit of graffiti alive. At the same time, he has taken part in numerous advertising projects (1664, Mercedes, Bnp Paribas, Burn, Bic, Nestlé...) and in the world of "artoys": Kidrobot and Toy2R in Hong Kong.

In his exhibitions, Nasty uses the famous enamel plaques of the Paris metro, which he has been appropriating for the past fifteen years. He also uses subway maps, perpetuating the original spirit of graffiti. His plaques are a big hit at auctions devoted to urban art (Artcurial, Drouot...).

Finally, Arte devoted a documentary to him in 2009. In 2012, Nasty collaborated with Coca-Cola's Burn energy drink brand. He subsequently collaborated with Annick Goutal, Monoprix and Maison du Chocolat.
