Marc Sinkiewicz started his artistic practice in his teenage years thanks to one of his art teachers, but once he embarked in his professional life he only had little time to dedicate to his passion.
Originally from the Nord Pas de Calais region, we can clearly perceive in his pieces the influence of a childhood spent in an industrial environment. The prosperous industrial past of this region is a major source of inspiration for the artist. African culture and traditions represent another field of his practice.
Marc Sinkiewecz uses several techniques to create his works, between his sculpture and his painting practice, his work has a common point: it is at the crossroads of surrealist vocabulary and a firm conviction that humans and animals are related.
