Patricia Simsa is a French painter, born in Paris in 1961.

Patricia Simsa is a multidisciplinary artst and doesn't focus her research on only one medium, initially she began with sculpture and then turned towards painting.

Her wild and joyful paintings are an invitation to enter her world filled with humor and love. Her favorite motif is women, or the image of the woman. Patricia Simsa's works intrigue, amuse, and manage to create complicity between the spectator and the characters.

She uses bright colours with thick strokes, the outcome is very poetic and highlights precision and harmony in her work, who leaves nothing to chance.

Patricia Simsa is a self-taught artist. Her first personal exhibition was in 1992 and she has done several since in Europe.
