I was born in Syracuse in Sicily. All my childhood was punctuated by the sound of my mother's sewing machine. She was a seamstress. Seeing her sublimate a simple fall of fabric in a trapeze dress or three-piece suit fascinated me. I was like, “when I grow up, I want to do this! I want to create! I want to see the unthinkable, the unimaginable born under my hands! "

This is what I do today with my Mixartoys. For years I put my passion at the service of others through many projects, I wanted to… have fun, to reconnect with the creative spirit of my childhood. Even if my little boy's soul never really left me (you have to see my collection of toys!), I felt the urge to take action. Yes, that's it… there was an urgent need: I had to create!

I thought about the toys and games from my childhood. All these mythical characters from comics and cartoons that populated my room. At the time, my parents could not afford to spoil us, I recovered the figurines and banged up toys of my friends and, already, I tinkered them. I mixed them in my own way to give them a second life! An extraordinary life, populated with fantastic adventures that I spent hours imagining.

Today, I emptied my attic and got my dusty toys out of their boxes. These toys, I love them. They are warriors: they have survived all the wars, tortures and experiences that I put them through. They have resisted the call of digital. They have crossed the ages. They don't care about fashions, money or religion. They are immortal.

I wanted to give them what they deserve: an XXL life. Suddenly, they gain height and become by turns ferocious, rebellious, tender… by the magic of the Mix. These are Mixartoys.

These mixartoys look like me. Each is a mix of seriousness, derision, humor and humor.

They are, in a way, the guardians of our childhood.
