Balthazar Ausset

Balthazar Ausset (1995) graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2020, he lives and works in Paris.

Questioning is at the center of a moving practice through which Balthazar Ausset explores his environment as an artist and as an individual. Photography, sculpture, installation, are the languages used to give substance to the idea, in the transposition of meaning to an never-frozen form. The artist's ecosystem is analyzed through the abyss of his own codes by traversing the space of the workshop and the exhibition, the time of creation and realization, the gesture of failure to the object-work of art, synthesis of all intentionality.

From start to finish, from top to bottom, Balthazar Ausset's work inevitably touches the sphere of the individual. Because, the artist (re) collects the tangible clues, the landmarks that define our personal spaces through perceptions or habits. He once again exposes its codes thanks to the exaltation of detail, the diversion of scale, the union and otherness of the organic to the mechanical.

Textures and forms, content and content, are then superimposed in a loop, in the materialization of a fluid temporality.
