Yoan Tanuji and Abdel Benkhedidja, both born in 1982, met during their university studies. Yoan, a professional magician, has always collected objects from the pop art universe and works by great artists. His job allows him to meet people from all walks of life and to share special moments in exceptional places, during which the magic really seems to exist! Creating illusions and managing his business naturally lead him to mix work and pleasure on a daily basis, the desire to in turn create original works and share them materializes with Harissart. A graduate of a business school, Abdel decides to pursue a career in investment banking. After 6 years spent behind his screens in the trading room, in New York, London and then Paris, he wants to give meaning to what he does and launch his start-up in sustainable development. He sold it a few years later to fully devote himself to his consuming passion for art. Harissart was born from the passion of these two longtime friends. Their creations are largely inspired by their memories of adolescence and more generally of the 90s. The themes of currency, money and luxury also occupy a central place in the world of Harissart. Their works denounce its power, often parody it and sometimes even ridicule it. Drawing their inspiration from popular iconography, they divert, modernize and customize objects straight from the past to provoke an emotion, a feeling, revive a good memory or create it ... "Because what we do is impossible. -be not art, but that we try
