Herrero

Marjorie Herrero, originally from Nîmes, was born in 1977.

Very early on, the artist became interested in Chinese calligraphy, fascinated by the mastery of gesture, the quality of the line and the emotions it generates. She creates her first works which mix her Asian influences and the Pop movement.

Without limits, she uses many techniques and explores the field of possibilities: origami, cut-out paper, drawing or even digital art. His work is meticulous, like his cutouts as fragile as lace.

Herrero also diverts obsolete objects or objects from popular culture such as Playmobil in poetic and comical sketches that send us inspiring and offbeat messages.
