Born in 1973 (Italy), Riccardo Bandiera lives a stone's throw from the sea in Liguria and discovered photography by chance after technical studies and a job as an engineer. He has exhibited in Barcelona, Brussels, Arles, Turin, Genoa, Rome, in collective and personal. In the edition of 2013 of Paratissima (in Turin) he was awarded one of the artists most deserving with the series of photos taken underwater by analog disposable camera, "Non affoghi cadendo nel fiume...". The same project - exhibited at Genoa (Italy), Galata Museo del Mare - has been reported and awarded for the Biennale held in Genoa in those days. In october 2016 wins the Biennale in Salerno (Italy) with the project “Anedonia". In july 2017 has partecipated at Voies Off in Arles, during the Rencontres, showing some photos from “Atlas Over Arteries" with the gallery Riccardo Costantini Contemporary of Turin. He's the author of the book “Essenze Invisibili'... His works are part of Underwater Photography Festival Project.
