Presentation

Amiolemen Emmanuel was born in Lagos, Nigeria. He presented various portrait paintings in an oil medium to private collectors During his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, which sprung so much interest in his craft. Currently, he is an artist in residence at the Centre for Afrikan art and design (CEFAAD) Ibadan Oyo state where he started his career as a painter and an instructor of students on SIWES and industrial training (IT) in relating their art experience to the art industry.

Emmanuel has been exploring his art to challenge, encourage and give strength to minds, which will sustain love and live fearlessly in any situation or circumstances, using the application of his skills and techniques in documenting different expressions, with both abstract and realistic figural images as a reference point, and acrylic medium on textured canvas, with both neutral and complementary colors.

He believes that "art gives value to my cultural heritage, and great significance to life through painting images from beautiful African environments and art creates atheistic, and add productive response and commentary on social and economic issues, which makes us challenge ourselves to be stronger when life gets harder.", Emmanuel obtained Higher National Diploma (HND) in painting technology in 2018.
