Gabryela Wasowicz is a Polish painter born in 1947. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Warsaw and then at the Gerrit Rietveld Akademie in Amsterdam. Once she graduated in 1972, she moved permanently to the Netherlands. Where she dedicates today to painting in the drawing studio that she runs.

Gabryela Wasowicz evolves in a figurative universe in which she develops subjects united by their delicacy. Flowers and female protraits are part of her favorite subjects.

The artist exhibits her work regularly in galleries. Her pieces have also been the object of a selection for the "New Figuration" exhibition at the National Museum of Crakow in 2005, and are part of numerous private collections.
