Presentation

“Spinning Nature" is the name chosen to define the artistic journey of the Swiss-based artist duo of Mexican-born Ana D. Lombard and Finnish-born Noora Kulvik. They underline their deep conviction that we do not pay enough attention to the fragility of our planet's natural resources : “Remaining a static viewer in the negative transformation of the planet should no longer be an option".

The artist duo believe that the outcome of our actions has especially harmful repercussions on nature, because the socio-ecological system in which we live is extraordinarily complex. The balance between the humanity's behaviour and our planet's ecology, as they interact continuously, is now at a tipping point. It is essential for the artist duo to deliver a visual message of the aggression that nature, natural resources and humanity endure as a result of our actions. Ana D et Noora K exhibit regularly around the world and their pieces are a part of international art collections.
