Nostalgic and subversive, Jerkface is a New York-based artist most widely recognised for his playful re-imaginings of pop culture iconography.

Deftly manipulating preconceived notions of form into new and compelling visual narratives, Jerkface's paintings are sophisticated meditations on colour and movement. Imbued with all the emotion, energy, and unbridled optimism of youth, faceless icons from popular culture are transmuted into intricately painted motifs on canvas; challenging viewers to connect with the subtleties of each carefully constructed composition.

A prolific muralist, Jerkface is also one of the most readily identifiable artists in the street art community. His first work of public art notably survived the whitewashing of historic 5pointz in 2013, and he remains a forerunner in the New York street art scene, with one of the largest murals on display in New York City.
