Biography
Born in 1986, Kokouvi Adoku is an artist born in Togo. He currently lives and works in Burkina Faso since 2010.
He studied calligraphy, screen printing and drawing. Kokouvi Adoku displays the neglected, the forgotten people of our society in his pieces.Through his work, the artist seeks to create a connection between them and us. He draws African beings or insects in his compositions, which are often structured with vertical lines enhanced by the color.
His pieces are created with paper mache, glue, pastels, ochre and pigments on recycled materials.
Kokouvi Adoku's work is widely exhibited in Africa and has gradually been integrated in Europe.
