Guillaume Allemand

From September, 15 to October, 15 2016

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

For years, Guillaume Allemand has been working with animal bones. You should know this because when you discover his compositions, this is not really obvious. His pieces are textured, displaying myriads of white elements in relief, and they may evoke ceramic art, precious wood woking, books in a library, a sea of ice, icicles, fragments of continents lost seen from the sky...

His latest white monochromes, where the furrows between bone fragments and reliefs catch the light, emphasize this ambiguity, the sense of virgin territory yet to be explored.
