Presentation

Born in 1987 in Paris, Aranthell lives and works in Ile de France. After a baccalaureate in Applied Arts, she studied Fine Arts and Aesthetics as a joint course at Paris 1 Sorbonne. She created the "Collectif Plasma" with two other artists, in 2012.

How does one describe reality, something which becomes entirely normal through the absence of an occurring then transparent until it is indescribable? In the context of a serial production, can't we consider an object as a unique being anymore, although identical?

Aranthell suggests to explore reality in our society at the individual level, especially through the consumption prism, a game and a non-event. Paintings, drawings or volumes, her work is established under the form of a parallel series-many thematic lists but without any outcome scheduled. No human faces: the object becomes the theme and takes shape, outside any sort of context.
