Born in 1973 - Germany

A qualified "animist-epicurean", Marco was born in Munich in 1973. He studied arts at Cardiff and Falmouth, he obtained a scholarship from UNESCO-Aschberg in Kenya(Nairobi). The artist owns a gallery now in the South of France, in the Eastern Pyrenees.

His love for music has a lot to do with his expressive pictorial rhythm. Just like a melody, his work beguiles but also carries us away. Marco travels around the world along with his mediums: ornamental photography, installation, metal sculpture...The artist's creations come into being with the help of those emotions he felt during his adventures.

"Pedaling through a forest of baobabs under scorching sunlight, gazing at a cluster of stars, assisting the birth of a child at the other end of the world, or simply enjoying the sun in a meadow, listening to the birds chirping...". He associates these key elements of his trip: fish, birds, telephones, computers...in the same whirlwind of life and colors. The symphony of colors brings about a movement, dynamism which reproduces his travels. He transfers them to a dreamlike enchanted world, where joy predominates.

Marco works sometimes in Sète. Due to his residency in Kenya, he got the opportunity to exhibit his work at the headquarters of the UNO in Nairobi, followed by Great Britain, Norway, Denmark, Spain and Germany...
