Born in 1983 - Poland
Marta Rynkiewicz is a young Polish artist born in 1983.
She studied painting with Professor Henryk Czenik and graphic arts with Professor Jerzy Krechowicz, at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. She received her diploma in 2009. In 2007/2008, she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milano.
Marta Rynkewicz’s works portray reality a graphical way. Her pieces are bound by the concise aesthetics of pop-art. The landscapes, interiors, architectural spaces are deprived of any human presence. The bright, flashy colors, clear light and the holiday landscapes depict a summer mood. The perceptive and composition of her pieces allows the viewer to enter and participate in the world she creates.
In her last series called "Dreams, Apparitions, Fantasies", the artist creates a deep tension. Which is one of the characteristic features of her art.
