Maxime Blanchet, born January 27, 1994, is a ceramic artist and moulder.
He began his professional life by choosing the profession of pastry chef and chocolatier.
He is attracted by technique and manual work. During 10 years exploring the limits of this profession, he decided in 2020 to turn to a new medium, ceramics.
He specializes in working with molds and earthenware, adding a more contemporary touch. The models are mostly created on a computer and printed in 3D. It is the meeting of technology and ancestral know-how.
His work is inspired by surrealism and space age.
A futuristic, vintage and strange world is revealed as his creations progress.
