Description of the artwork
"Mythra Soul" is a captivating artwork that harmoniously combines the timeless beauty of a traditional woman with the energetic, graffiti-covered backdrop of an urban environment.
The centerpiece of the composition is a traditional woman, adorned in exquisite cultural attire that tells a story of her heritage. Her clothing is rich in history and symbolism, featuring intricate patterns, vibrant colors, and traditional accessories that highlight the depth of her cultural identity. She stands with poise and grace, symbolizing the strength and grace that comes from embracing one's roots.
The graffiti background serves as a striking contrast to the woman's traditional clothing. The wall behind her is a dynamic display of urban artistry, characterized by bold, vibrant colors, abstract shapes, and a cacophony of symbols and designs that reflect the energy of the city streets. The graffiti offers a vibrant and contemporary counterpoint to the woman's timeless elegance.
""Mythra Soul" explores the intersection of heritage and the modern world, representing the idea that traditional values and cultural identity can coexist harmoniously with the fast-paced urban environment. It celebrates the beauty of diversity and cultural expression in the midst of contemporary urban life.
This artwork encourages viewers to appreciate the balance between preserving cultural traditions and embracing the influences of the modern world. It serves as a reminder that cultural heritage and personal identity can thrive amidst the dynamic backdrop of an ever-evolving city, allowing for self-expression and a deeper connection to one's roots.
"Mythra Soul" is a tribute to the rich tapestry of human culture, showcasing the idea that traditions and cultural values can flourish alongside the vibrancy of urban life and art. It invites us to celebrate the fusion of heritage and contemporary expression, embodying the beautiful harmony that exists between tradition and the urban landscape.

Born in 1989 in Tangiers, Saïd Sabir is an emerging artist in the street art scene.
For him, street art is more than a movement or a technique, it is first and foremost a way of seeing life. Saïd Sabir has been drawing ever since he was a kid, but his true vocation revealed itself in his teens with the discovery of hip hop and graffiti.
After studying graphic design, the Moroccan artist made his first paintings in 2011. They displayed the influence of pop art in the beginning, but his production got richer ever since. Saïd Sabir found his style little by little. Working with both spray paint and brushes on canvas, he managed to kept his spontaneity alive, while staying in control during the process, and choosing with great care each color he used. Sabir is a perfectionist though, and he reinvents his technique and improves his style ceaselessly. He likes to meet new artists during his travels and his style displays the marks of these influences. He never stops learning, and that is the only thing that matters to him.
His painting offers itself generously in his works. Each portrait delivers a message, has a narrative. He often stresses the importance of each of them in his personal life; they tell stories about people he meets, and they become witnesses of these moments. Saïd Sabir believes that the artist has an immense power, similar to the Divine force : that of creation.
In parallel with his colorful portraits that have become his trademark, Saïd Sabir is part of numerous projects. He is a comics author producing work such as Killer Network, Piece of Moon ou Wolves... He also makes screen printed t-shirts.
