Pierre Terrasson estudió artes visuales en la École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de París en la década de 1970. Durante los 80 fotografió toda la escena del rock nacional e internacional, realizó numerosos reportajes y produjo numerosas portadas en vinilo. Mirar las fotografías de Pierre Terrasson es experimentar lo íntimo, en el corazón del backstage, en los escenarios de conciertos de todo el mundo, en los sets. Realiza retratos y reportajes para Rock & Folk, Liberation y Le Nouvel Obs '. Fotografía a los más grandes y en particular a The Clash, The Cure, Mick Jagger, Iggy Pop, Alain Bashung o incluso Serge Gainsbourg.
