Jesus Torio est un artiste visuel et un infirmier andalou qui travaille dans le domaine de la photographie. Sa pratique artistique est ancrée dans ses expériences personnelles, notamment son travail d'infirmier en milieu hospitalier. Dans son art, il explore les thèmes de la couleur et de l'abstraction, cherchant à créer des images qui inspirent un état de méditation et de réflexion, permettant au spectateur de découvrir ses propres interprétations et significations.
Les photographies de Torio ont été exposées dans des galeries et des festivals à travers l'Europe. Parmi ces expositions, citons Out of the Blue Photography Exhibition, Édimbourg, Royaume-Uni ; AOP Awards Finalist Exhibition, Édimbourg, Royaume-Uni ; Young Talent Dior, Arles Photo Festival, LUMA, Arles, France ; Copeland Gallery, Londres, Royaume-Uni ; et Meet You Festival, Teatro Calderon, Valladolid, Espagne.
En 2022, il a été sélectionné comme lauréat du prix Dior pour les jeunes talents. Il a également été deux fois finaliste des AOP Student Awards et finaliste des British Photography Awards. Torio a fait partie des artistes sélectionnés pour les COCA Project Awards et les LensCulture Open Awards.
