Biographie
Amvel Atasunts est né à Samarkand (Ouzbékistan) le 28 juillet 1959. En 1967, il s'installe à Erevan (Arménie). À l'âge de 9 ans, il commence à peindre à l'huile. De 1975 à 1977, Atasunts Samvel a participé au premier festival d'exposition de l'Union et a reçu le diplôme du deuxième degré. Il a fréquenté l'atelier de peinture sous la direction de Kotanjyan. En 1979, il a obtenu son diplôme de l'école des arts.
Depuis 2001, il est membre de l'Union des artistes d'Arménie, à Erevan. Samvel Atasunts dessine également des portraits sur commande. Il participe à différentes expositions.
