My painting comes from a meditative and spiritual state, it is the result of an expression of the unconscious.
Biography
Emily STARCK is a French artist evolving in abstract expressionism guided by her deep emotions. Hypersensitive, she often needs to isolate herself from the world and noise, she recharges in nature, it is there that she mainly draws her inspiration. She likes to work with mixed techniques and is often recognized for her quality as a colorist.
She prefers to express herself on large formats, allowing for a fluid and uncluttered gesture. She paints directly on the canvas, on the wall or on the floor when the format is too large. Then, she creates a custom frame for the finished work. She likes to compare the abstract to a musical improvisation; there is nothing to guess, see, or recognize, just emotions to feel, which will echo each person's experience.
His works are exhibited in museums in Russia in particular, following his Plein Air residency at the Oldenburg Palace in 2017, and also in Greece.
