Biography
Léone Béguin is a multidisciplinary artist and has been passionate about textures for several years. Her work, anchored in materiality, plays with different media: natural fibers, fabrics and old papers, sandstone, plaster and concrete. The artist makes them interact through associations of textures in abstract compositions.
The process is intuitive and sensory and is mainly inspired by our environment.
His obsessive work on textures has led the artist to work mainly on materials and their confrontation. The creative process always starts from the exploration of a material, working on its limits and its plastic possibilities.
