"An exploration of the soul, full of poetry and color…"
Biography
A former student of the École des Beaux-Arts and the Rachel Boyer Foundation at the École du Louvre in Paris, Malcq blends strength and color, vitality and movement. Her canvases play with texture and a multiplicity of tones to challenge and move us.
The viewer is drawn into rich and harmonious universes through vibrant colors, fluid movement, and the sculpting of pictorial matter. The use of pure pigments on the canvas imbues her creations with a power tempered by softness.
This abstract painting invites a journey to the heart of our emotions, meeting the energies sparked by chromatic nuances—somewhere between the imaginary and the real, suspended in time and space. It is a poetic exploration of the soul through color.
Since the 1990s, Malcq has exhibited regularly in: Paris, Dinard, Saint-Cast, Saint-Briac, Lille, Orchies, Blangy-sur-Bresle, Eu, Abbeville, Sables-d’Or-les-Pins, and Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme, as well as group exhibitions in Tournai, Kortrijk, and Le Touquet.
