Presentation

Photographer and Street-Artist, Cleps discovered the world of photography at the age of 18, when he inherited a Rolleiflex from 1950. Integrating the digital revolution that was shaking the world of images, he first specialized in portrait and interior photography. His personal relationship with Street-Art gradually oriented his photographic work towards the outside frame and offered him a new field of experimentation. Going from square film to large wall collages, he shoots large format portraits for display on walls around the globe. Fallow areas and urban walls of Burkina Faso, India, Brazil and Cambodia become his creative media. His hybrid style makes him one of the artists in sight, his flashy productions have offered him the recognition of the public as of his peers. Invested in the “Wall Trip” project with Mr Blonde and Pablito, the three artists roam the cities, camera in hand, to discover the street-artists with whom they make documentary films.
