Biography
Samuel Tasinaje is a self-taught French artist, trained in theater at the rue Blanche school, the ENSATT. His monochrome painting, white on black, comes from his college and high school years where he bombarded the walls with stencils, and drew in class. Wishing first to be a sculptor, then an actor and a director, he became a painter again from 2006 where he produced collages, then paintings on canvas. Painter of light, feelings and the human condition, shadows bring out emotions to anyone who looks at his paintings. On these large dimensions, Samuel Tasinaje paints the expressive, the living. We must find the parts of the unknown that hide in the shadows. An ambivalent artist, he now holds exhibitions throughout France and abroad.
