Biography
Claude André Thibaud is a contemporary French painter. The essence of his art is expressed through metamorphoses, tensions, fear, pain, the destructuring of the human body and its rebirth, without obeying the rules of classical anatomy to go beyond representation of matter. Its black flat areas and bright or soft colors highlight the movement of life. He is in search of the most vulnerable, dramatic, distinctive and secret elements of humanity beyond appearances. His subjects share their own stories through the deconstruction of their object.
Claude André Thibaud was born in 1948, in France. His work has been exhibited in France and abroad. He is a member of Figuration Critique, the Taylor Foundation and Destructuralisme Figuratif - DF Art Project.
