Kegrea is a young French painter born in 1988, he currently lives and works in Angoulême.
Kegrea is a self-taught artist, he does not restrict himself to a single artistic practice, he loves going back and forth between different practices and different supports. Between painting on a canvas or directly in a public space, Kegrea does not put any limit to his creation.
In certain of his pieces, he draws his inspiration from anonymous faces from photographs of the early twentieth century. With a contemporary treatment and an old background on his images, Kegreas' works are a mixture of tradition and modernity.
