Biography
The drawing has always been part of Thomas Bambini. As a child, he spent a lot of time reproducing what he saw. From the beginning he finds his inspiration in the universe of the Renaissance which fascinates him by his techniques and an authentic know-how. He mainly creates portraits in chiaroscuro, in the same spirit as the great painters at the time, with the same desire for hyperrealism. He reproduces identically the paintings of the great masters (Rubens, Caravaggio ..) gives them a more contemporary look by adding tattoos.
He attaches particular importance to his work reflecting authentically this combination of the old and the present. In parallel he became a tattoo artist, which is for him a continuity of the work of painter by the use of another tool.
