Biography
Julien Marie aka Glad is a French artist born in 1982, originally from Caen where he went to an art school. He currently lives and works in his hometown.
Fascinated since his childhood by manga, he gradually immerse himself in the geek culture. He made as well several researches about the art of Origami and developed a polygon style in 2011, based on traditional as well as on digital techniques.
He works as a graphic designer and freelance illustrator, Glad works with different media and draws his inspiration from pop culture.
Among the various ocassions on which his artwork has been exhibited, he was commissioned to decorate the lobby of the Geekopolis fair.
