Biography
Born in 1973, Max.L, Maxime Ledieu (his real name) is a self-taught multidisciplinary plastic artist. To satisfy his need to create, touch, cut, draw, model, he likes to combine styles and materials for the sole purpose of arousing an emotion.
Influenced by Pop art, notably Roy Lichenstein and Street Art, he draws his inspiration from Comics, comics, video games, cartoons as well as the icons of pop culture or cinema from the 60s and 70s.
He likes the principle of introducing “iconic" consumer products into his creations. One way like any other of freezing time, stories and other slices of life.
