Biography
Originally from Bruyere in the Vosges, Michel Colin is a painter. He studied at the School of Fine Arts of Strasbourg and Aix-en-Provence. He taught plastic arts in Strasbourg from 1961 to 1989. Michel Colin expresses himself through subjects often coming from his trips (France, Morroco, Thaïland, USA); His work on New York includes a collection of very colorful oïls and pastels as well as lavis in white and black: immersing views of the skyscrapers, framing at eye level with its characteristic dense population and yellow taxis .
Michel Colin exhibits his work regularly in France since 1968 (Strasbourg, Paris, Lyon, Epinal, Aix-en-Provence, Le Havre, Dinard) and abroad in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and Japan. He has also participated in numerous fairs.
