Biography
I am a 53 year old self taught painter, using oil on canvas with the occasional addition of acrylic for background effect.
I have been painting for 30 years, mostly as a hobby, I had a solo exhibition in Kyoto Japan in 1999.
I recently teamed up with a friend, László Gáspár in Budapest, and together we created Art & More Creative Solutions Ltd. as a brand to market my paintings in 2019.
To achieve the desired effects with my Onyx and 3D effect styles, I like to work on large canvases, dimensions between 100 cm to 200 cm, or even more.
I use paintbrushes, palette knives, and specially designed and handcrafted brushes for my Onyx series.
For my colorful and dating style paintings, I used to use brushes, palette knives, and glazing effects, paint drips, double or triple coats.
My style is contemporary abstract. Compositions containing: geometric shapes, 3D effect images, a wide range of bright colors, figurative abstract.
