Biography
Majid Asgari is a young Iranian artist, inspired by Western and especially American pop culture. In contradiction with the social points of an Islamic republic, it puts the point on objects, products and symbols of a company among other American.
He associates this idea of a very simple and strong symbol with a very complex and meticulous construction work. Majid shares great precision and attention to detail. He reminds us that art is not just a symbol and heritage but it is also technical, labor and the result of reflection and work. The collage collection "Made in USA" is a reminder of the symbols of a consummation of our society facing the art and the result of a sublimated ancestral technique.
