Julien Vinet is a French artist born in 1980, he lives and works in Malta.
After studying visual communication and applied arts in Paris, he moved to Japan for eight years to study calligraphy and engraving. deeply influenced by the Japanese culture, he discovered there the aesthetic power of black and white and the line of movement.
The formal work of Julien Vinet is mostly monochromatic. Inspired by kinetic art, he creates movement from a fragmented and reconstructed line, in constanttly evolution.
Julian Vinet s pieces have been the object of several solo exhibitions in Tokyo, Paris, Marseilles and Malta.
