Biography
Anna Korusiewicz, born in 1980 in Katowice, Poland. In 2006 graduated Master of Arts in professor Piotr Jargusz atelier. She mainly deals with easel painting, mostly large formats, inspired by XIXth century painters such as Ingres, Berger, De Nittis and Gierymsky.
Interested in figurative painting for a long time, now is turning towards abstract painting, searching for composition and tensions of colours. The idea of her painting is continuous development and constantly search for her self through the art. The two presented paintings are typical of the earlier period of her work.
