Biography
Philip Tyler is a British contemporary artist, born in London in 1964. Tyler began his artistic training at the University of Loughborough, before ultimately pursuing an MA in Printmaking at Brighton University. Often using nude portraiture as a stimulus, his work incorporates a variety of different media, including acrylic paints, oil paints, and fine art drawings.
The artist’s work has been included in some of the world’s most renowned collections and exhibitions, including those in Australia, Finland and the United States. In 1991, he was the sole recipient of the Young Artists South East prize.
