Biography
Jersey Joe, also known as Rime, is an American artist whose work belongs to the graffiti movement. Originally from New York, he currenty lives in Los Angeles. His passion for graffiti is rooted in the SoHo neighborhood, near Manhattan, where he discovered the underground universe. He refined his style for years in New York and from 1995 in New Jersey. In 2006, he moved to Los Angeles. Where he taught graffiti in the underpriviledge schools of the neighborhoods. In parallel, he was a member of the "MSK" and of the "Seven Letters" groups.
His frescoes are present in more than 25 cities in the United States and in more than 15 countries around the globe (Australia, Japan, Spain, Canada etc). He exhibited his work for the first time in a gallery in 2004.
