Named "Banksy meets Basquiat" by famous Vogue international fashion editor Suzy Menkes, Bradley Theodore is the rising super star in the USA, he mixes art and fashion. Fashion allows people to show what they really feel and how they would like to be seen by others. When people dress they want to present themselves in an artistic form, whether it is flamboyant style, glamor or kitsch, or just casual style, it is part of the expression of identity. This was Theodore's central idea when he started painting fashion icons and designers in a colorful and impressionistic way. He embodies fashion legends, such as Anna Wintour, Kate Moss or Karl Lagerfeld. However, the skeletons have more to do with the revelation of actual human nature than it has to do with folklore and symbolism. The artist chose skeletons to reveal "real human nature".
