The Venice Biennale
The 60th Venice Biennale, the world’s largest contemporary art exhibition, runs from April 20 to November 24, 2025, in Venice, Italy. Curated by Adriano Pedrosa, this edition, titled “Stranieri Ovunque – Foreigners Everywhere,” highlights artists who are immigrants, expatriates, refugees, or part of a diaspora.
With 332 international artists showcased across the Giardini and Arsenale, the exhibition explores themes of identity, migration, and belonging. The title is inspired by a neon artwork series by Claire Fontaine and echoes the message of an anti-racist collective from early 2000s Turin.
