Biografie
Amvel Atasunts wurde am 28. Juli 1959 in Samarkand (Usbekistan) geboren. Im Jahr 1967 zog er nach Eriwan (Armenien). Im Alter von 9 Jahren begann er mit der Ölmalerei. Von 1975 bis 1977 nahm Atasunts Samvel am ersten gesamtuniversitären Ausstellungsfestival teil und erhielt das Diplom des zweiten Grades. Er besuchte das Malatelier unter der Leitung von Kotanjyan. 1979 machte er seinen Abschluss an der Hochschule der Künste.
Seit 2001 Mitglied des Künstlerverbandes von Armenien, Eriwan. Samvel Atasunts malt auch Porträts im Auftrag. Er nimmt an den verschiedenen Ausstellungen teil.
