Poesía de la vida cotidiana

La tradición de representar la vida cotidiana en el arte se remonta al siglo XVII en Europa, cuando los artistas se apartaron de las representaciones idealizadas de la realeza y las figuras clásicas. En su lugar, estos artistas crearon representaciones de la vida contemporánea y de la gente corriente, lo que se conoce como "pintura de género". Con la eliminación de cualquier contenido imaginado o idealizado, las pinturas de género estaban arraigadas en la realidad de la vida moderna.

Desde este periodo, los artistas han recurrido cada vez más al mundo contemporáneo como inspiración artística. Desde la fotografía hasta la pintura y el dibujo de bellas artes, artistas de diversas formas y estilos buscan la belleza en la realidad presente y vivida como principal fuente de inspiración para sus obras.
